it is. in my eyes he was a great rapper that turned singer, but didnt really have the melodic sense needed to make "real music". so his albums often ended up beeing a handfull of great songs and two handfulls of "too easy" or "heard before" songs. this one is different, its probably his best post-house of pain album.

im listening to el da sensei and the returners: global takeover.

El on the mic, polish producer group Returners on the beats. Kinda new millenium boom-bap, voicesamples, crash cymbals and heavily compressed drums as we have heard a million times before, but very well executed and with some nice turntable trickery as well. Not sure its come out yet, but im picking it up when it does, and you guys should at least check it out.
